In response to continued interest and increasing momentum toward global GHS implementation, this Second Edition Library provides access to the latest publicly available resource documents related to chemical hazard communication and implementation of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). This edition includes the GHS and related international instruments; regional and national legislation, policies and guidelines; GHS capacity building resources, including information on projects, guidance and training materials; and meeting and workshop reports.

This library was prepared in the context of the UNITAR/ILO GHS Capacity Building Programme and is a contribution to the WSSD Global Partnership for Capacity Building to Implement the GHS. A CD ROM version is also available to provide these materials to those who do not have regular access to the internet. Interested parties are encouraged to contact UNITAR for a copy of the CD ROM or to submit electronic versions of chemical hazard communication-related documents for future editions.
