About this Library...

The ever increasing number of agreements addressing chemicals and waste management poses a significant challenge for all countries and particularly for those already facing capacity constraints. This CD ROM aims at addressing the need of government officials and non-governmental stakeholders to obtain ready access to the growing body of key international policy documents relevant for identifying and implementing synergies for chemicals and waste management capacity building. For a total of 53 international agreements, the CD Rom contains agreement texts, amendments and reports. The CD also features key UN Decisions and documents, international resource materials and documents from international workshops addressing synergy development. It is hoped that enhanced access to these documents will assist countries to identify conference synergies for capacity building and implement Integrated National Programmes for the Sound Management of Chemicals and Waste.
